About the role

Reporting to the Senior Tech Lead, you will be joining a fast-paced team of software developers, data engineers and data scientists and operate in an agile environment building Azure services enabling data transfers, transformations for our critical search platform. As a digital software developer, you will use your engineering experience in the software solutions (APIs, ETL, UI, Back End Services to enable the best customer experience through innovative solutions.

About you and your skills.

As the full stack software developer in this space, you will work closely with the engineering team, data scientists & architects to understand existing digital search platform, interpret business requirements and design Azure native solutions (potentially GCP moving forward) for building application and deliver quality software that meets the customer requirements.

Your skills

• Proven experience with full stack development for building cloud native solutions (FE/BE) using ReactJS/Angular (React Preferred)
• Able work in a very fast paced highly customer outcomes focused eCommerce environment
• Deep knowledge of current technological trends, frontend, backend, data, cloud native applications
• Knowledge of systems design and development of frontend, backend, database, integration patterns
• Advanced programming skills in JavaScript, Express.js technologies
• Experience with DevOps toolchain, particularly Azure DevOps, Pipelines, Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Docker
• Similar advance skills leveraging Google Cloud will also be highly regarded
• Solid experience with Python would be preferred
