Job Summary

Selkirk Paving, part of the Terus Construction Ltd group, is looking to hire enthusiastic and hardworking Junior Quality Control Technicians with a good eye for detail. They will be responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our company products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. They may also be required to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement.

Duties/ Responsibilities

Perform Quality Control testing during aggregate production

Work with Quality Control Manager to ensure all products meet specifications

Work with plant operators to make adjustments as required

Maintain a clean and organized laboratory and vehicle.

Skills

Safety conscientious, working around heavy equipment and production plants

good communication skills

Ability to follow written procedures

Ability to lift 50 lbs and carry short distances

Ability to work extended shifts and out of town.
