Permanent role. We want someone with a blend of good client facing/ consulting skills (i.e., good communication skills, articulate) + experience within testing aspects/delivery. This role sits within the Cognizant’s RPA Practice.

Position Summary:

The ICT Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Specialist will be well versed in developing testing strategies for RPA solutions, with a special emphasis on Blue Prism. They will specify, develop, and write test plans and test scripts, produces test cases, carries out regression testing, and uses automated test software applications to test the behaviour, functionality, and integrity of systems, and documents the results of tests in defect reports and related documentation. They will be able to manage test teams and work closely with the client to ensure that client procedures and standards are adhered to.

The Specialist would be working alongside key clients to enable them to ensure that delivered RPA solutions meet agreed quality standards. If successful, you will play a critical role in the growth of the Cognizant team and its RPA capability across ANZ.

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in specifying, develop and write test plans and test scripts for RPA tools
• Able to produce test cases, carry out regression testing
• Experience in the use of automated test software applications to test the behaviour, functionality, and integrity of systems
• Practical experience testing RPA solutions delivering over 10 processes in PROD
• Be able to document the results of tests in defect reports and related documentation and able to present results to key stakeholders.
• RPA Tool Certification: Blue Prism Accredited Developer (AD01) Certified, Blue Prism Accredited Professional Developer (APD01) Certified, Solution Designer Preferred.
• Practical experience using RPA tools delivering over 10 processes in PROD
• Responsible for the design, communication, and implementation of testing strategies
• Capable of playing a lead tester role and managing both onshore and offshore test teams
• Contribute to solution documentation to support solution transition and maintenance, do effort estimation, Delivery planning, Software Quality Assurance
• Experience in creating, maintaining, and managing technical quality assurance processes and guidelines
• Working on Support and Maintenance activities
• Use agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD) and work closely with the Business Analyst and functional experts
• Deliver on assigned responsibilities adhering to coding standards, policies, and procedures
• Work within project schedule constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues
• Creating Handover Documentation

• Enthusiastic and unprompted attitude for implementing and developing new operation
• Scheduling and conducting quality audit inspections, and analyzing and reviewing systems, data, and documentation
• Identifying variations and potential high-risk areas in securing adherence to standards and procedures
• Recommending corrective action plans and improvements in the resolution of non-compliance with standards detected through monitoring and auditing of processes and procedures
• Communicating, educating, and liaising with users and management to ensure awareness and adherence to standards, procedures and quality control issues and activities
• Assisting in troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing, and resolving system problems and issues
• Developing, conducting, and providing technical guidance and training in application software and operational procedures
• Testing, identifying, and diagnosing functionality errors and faults in systems, and programming code within established testing protocols, guidelines, and quality standards to ensure systems perform to specification
• Performing organizational systems architecture reviews and assessments, and recommending current and future hardware and software strategies and directions
• Creating and reviewing technical documentation such as procedural, instructional, and operational guides and manuals

Salary Range: $95,000-$105,000
