Job Description

The Contractor shall provide operations and maintenance (O&M) and database development for legacy databases for Sponsor systems to include the Sponsor data repository for enterprise systems, FDW and new modern databases consistent with the Sponsor’s business data strategy.

The Contractor shall provide support for deployment packaging, system maintenance and troubleshooting to maintain sustainability and reliability of the Sponsor’s systems and applications.

These mission critical systems must continue without interruption and meet Sponsor approved timelines for new development activities.

The Contractor shall ensure that all development and modifications to existing Sponsor applications and databases comply with Sponsor’s security and architectural policies and regulations.

The Contractor shall be required to communicate and collaborate across organizational boundaries, to include other contractor teams.

The Contractor shall be required to work with Sponsor staff and contractor personnel, as well as external stakeholders.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications :

• Candidate must have an active TS / SCI with a Polygraph
• Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with 12-15 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with 10-13 years of relevant experience.

Will consider experience in lieu of a degree

• Demonstrated experience utilizing Oracle, PostgreSQL and modern database technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with Tableau, COGNOS and modern technologies for ing presentation.
• Demonstrated experience developing and interfacing with Application Program Interfaces (APIs).
• Demonstrated experience performing testing and quality assurance of developed solutions within the existing Oracle data tier.
• Demonstrated experience developing, creating, and modifying data structure and data load routines for analytic use cases.
• Demonstrated experience working with relational data tiers including cleansing, transforming and processing of structured data.
• Demonstrated experience developing and supporting applications using Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Demonstrated experience working with views, triggers and Oracle PL and SQL.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Amazon Web Services environments, including RDS, S3, etc.
• Demonstrated experience working within an Agile project management model and approved Project Management Frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience aligning data architecture with enterprise strategy and architectures that integrate and improve the quality of enterprise data.

Desired Qualifications :

• Demonstrated experience as agile scrum master and agile development team member.
• Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services / Cloud Data Migration Services.
• Demonstrated experience with JIRA.
• Demonstrated experience with IMMUTA data policy.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating and presenting technical information with Sponsor staff, IT customers, and other technical and non-technical staff and contractors at all levels.
• Demonstrated experience with a variety of data repository types (i.e., relational, NoSQL, distributed processing framework, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience creating and interfacing with REST APIs.
