Social Media Specialist

Duties:

– Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
– Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
– Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and competitor activity.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns.
– Conduct research on industry trends and audience preferences to inform content creation.
– Edit videos and photos for use on social media platforms.
– Proofread and edit social media posts for grammar, spelling, and clarity.
– Utilize web analytics tools to track and analyze social media performance.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
– Proven experience in managing social media platforms for business purposes.
– Proficient in video editing software and photography tools.
– Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills.
– Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is a plus.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
