This is an exciting time for an experienced recruitment professional to build out our recruitment engine, delivery of direct hiring goals and get onboard with and develop our strategic goals in talent acquisition and growth of the recruitment team.

Principal Purpose

Talent Acquisition Lead ensures recruiting processes align with current and future workforce needs. Implements and manages recruitment processes and employment programs. Develops the most effective, economical and appropriate recruiting channels and methods. Understands factors relevant to the business and hiring managers’ needs (e.g., time to hire, location, budget) and uses this knowledge to develop and implement end-to-end hiring plan aligned to the needs of the business growth.

• Define, design and implement recruiting programs and search engagements for a variety of technical roles in the Data, AI and Cloud space. This includes understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply
• Real benefit if the hire has experience of successfully recruiting across the Microsoft Technology landscape
• Effectively position our culture, values and employee value proposition to prospective candidates
• Connects data to organisation goals and leads the conversation to address hiring requirements
• Lead the implementation and management of hiring plans for the year and ensures it addresses business need
• Partner with hiring managers to develop a detailed profile of target candidates with data-driven advice on the range of logical possibilities
• Ensure our recruitment practices diverse, equitable and compliant in line with our company policies
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process in our HRIS and ensure records are accurately and compliantly managed at each stage
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Experience using talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams
• Will be expected to support PCE/HR team on delivery of projects to help the team and the business
• It would be an advantage if the candidate already has a strong network of contacts across our technology space in cloud, data and AI

What we need from you:

• Experience of delivering highly professional recruitment in a face paced hi-tech environment
• Management experience or aspirations to become lead of a talent team and can demonstrate skills and experience that would make this a natural next step
• Experience working with recruiting tools, Internet sourcing tools, and social media.
• Demonstrate a passion for talent pool research and experimenting with new sourcing techniques
• Seek to understand needs and appraise employment and contract options and guide managers to optimal approach
• Puts high value on equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging
• Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing strategies with an ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively
• Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow between candidates, hiring managers
• Experience in reporting, data and insights for workforce planning and hiring decisions

Salary and Benefits

C£70k to £80k based on experience/domain, 20% bonus and benefits
