About Code Monkeys

Code Monkey is a Software solutions company, focussed on GPS Tracking and its surrounding technologies. Based in Wakefield West Yorkshire we service clients globally. We write platforms for other companies in the GPS Tracking industry as well as re sell multiple types of GPS Tracking Hardware for use on GPS tracking platforms. Code Monkeys also hosts these (and other) platforms for clients in our Data Centre installations in the UK & USA.

In addition, Code Monkey has just launched a new platform to sell direct to customers, aimed at consumer needs in GPS Tracking (GPSBob).

Code Monkeys is looking to expand its team due to growth and add resilience to our services by means of adding team members.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-learning individual who really enjoys coding. You will be a self-motivated individual who can work as part of a team, as well as on your own, is able to bring your experience and ideas to our company, and who take’s pride in what you do.

Key Skills Required

– ASP.NET MVC C#

o JQuery

o CSS

o Html

– Mongo DB

– Microsoft SQL Server

– Xamarin C#

Having an interest in surrounding technologies such as AI, Python, Embedded software/hardware would be advantageous.

Key Roles Will Be

– Design / Build of existing and new applications

– 3rd Line support to customers and in house tech support

– Involvement in future product designs & ideas

Hours

– Flexible working available, work from home part of the time also considered, core hours will need to be observed

Experience & Qualification

– Experience, even if not in a corporate environment, and ability to work in relevant technologies is required, you will require the skills to just get on and code.

– Ability to demonstrate good technical knowledge, troubleshooting & any experience will be required.

– Ability to demonstrate logical thinking/coding

Holidays 28 days inc Bank Holidays

Overtime may be available but is not regular, and compensation will be agreed at the time

Due to the nature of some of the work we undertake you will be asked to consent to an Enhanced DBS check. We will apply for this, and the results will be returned to yourself for you to produce before starting your new role.

Salary: £35,849.00-£37,959.00 per year
