We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our C/C++ embedded software engineering team.

What will you be doing?

The team is responsible for developing software for new retail consumer products. This involves supporting all stages of the development lifecycle, including concept prototyping, final product software architecture, automated unit / integration testing, internal engineering utilities and manufacturing process support.

As a key member of the team, you must contribute to:

• Software development within our bespoke lifecycle that incorporates new product requirements, architecture design, module design, coding, unit testing, and system testing

• Creation of new software and technology systems that add value for customers
• Development of internal tooling that facilitates our Software Development Lifecycle
• Effective software configuration management, planning, reporting and documentation
• Provision of software maintenance and support for existing products

What makes a successful Software Engineer?

• A solid background in software engineering involving the C and C++ programming languages
• Experience with embedded operating systems (e.g. FreeRTOS / Zephyr / Linux)
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and responsibility for implementing timely solutions
• Experience with ARM, RISC-V embedded microcontroller architectures
• Linux system administration skills including container/virtual-machine management (Docker / Nutanix / VMware)
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer
  Above all you will have a strong desire to learn and grow. You will be motivated to solve complex problems in a consumer product development environment.
