This job is performed indoors, on a computer with automotive knowledge necessary.

INVENTORY SPECIALIST –

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

● Inventory specialists will be responsible for recording and inventorying usable parts from

vehicles while submitting applicable descriptive notes.

● Our inventory specialist will receive incoming vehicles to be placed in our salvage yard.

● Will be responsible for evaluating current parts stock.

● Inventory specialists will review parts for damage and verify ed

condition.

● Reviews the purchase information for each vehicle, and ensures that each vehicle for

inventory is properly inventoried

● Will be assisting with various warehouse tasks including inventory audits.

● Will also be in charge of communicating with different departments including our dismantling, parts pulling and buying teams.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

● High School diploma or equivalent

● Must have knowledge of vehicles, automotive parts and components.

● Must have computer skills including the use of tablets, MS Office including Excel with the ability to learn new software programs.

● Must be a strong communicator, self-motivated, able to collaborate with a team while also

acting independently and possessing critical thinking skills.

● Must have an eye for detail and the ability to treat our vehicles and parts as an asset with a

focus on damage prevention.

***Inventory Buddy or YMS experience is a plus.

***Body shop experience is a plus.
