The Opportunity

We are seeking a learning and development specialist to join our Global Talent Development team, to provide specific support across the APAC region in the areas of Learning and Leadership Development.

This position has been created to directly support the development and delivery of Talent Development frameworks, tools, and programs within the Asia Pacific geographic region. You will work closely with global colleagues and local business leaders to apply and modify (where required) globally aligned approaches and solutions for local and regional application. The scope of Talent Development includes leadership development, diversity and inclusion, culture, engagement, and broader learning and development including onboarding programs as well as supporting team-building initiatives.

Whilst you will support a diverse and complex region, you will be part of our Global Talent Development team who collectively work together to bring best practice ideas and programs to the business that enable our success.

Responsibilities include:

• Deploy and deliver global learning and Leadership Development programs adjusting content for cultural/functional/regional differences as appropriate
• Deploy and deliver D&I, engagement, and culture initiatives in alignment with global strategy and programs.
• Design and deliver Team Development workshops, utilising global tools and methodologies
• Deploy onboarding programs in partnership with Operational Business Partners and other colleagues in country as appropriate
• Partner with the global learning solutions team to design and deploy learning solutions using a variety of modalities in line with the global learning strategy including, but not limited to, e-learning, virtual learning, and social learning
• Ensure that local compliance programs are designed and deployed effectively and in a timely fashion
• Deploy learning prioritising accessibility and translations so that we are employing inclusive practices in the delivery of learning
• Work in collaboration with the broader People & Culture team to ensure a positive employee experience of learning and development
• Contribute to cross-functional project teams by sharing expert advice from a talent development standpoint to deliver solutions that support engagement, career growth and development
• Support managers and empower employees to increase capability and leverage global people and culture processes
• Support career development of our people through our processes such as external learning, coaching, 360 feedback, mentoring programs
• Provide mentoring and support to the business with a focus on our core leadership models (SLII, Feedback, Challenging Conversations, Inclusive Leadership)

About You. As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. To be successful in this role we are seeking someone with the following skills and experience:

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Learning and Development
• Strong understanding of, and demonstrated experience in, facilitating leadership and employee development programs, and executing initiatives in talent, learning and development
• Demonstrated success in operating in a matrix reporting relationship
• Strong team player and collaborator
• Culturally sensitive, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and evidence of good judgement
• Ability to work across multiple/competing priorities and manage expectations and tight deadlines across multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
• Ability to work flexible hours to ensure delivery of training to employees working across varied countries/functions

• Preferred accreditation in certified learning programs
• Preferred system experience using a Learning Management System
• Preferred experience in developing E-Learning
• In addition to English language skills, proficiency in one of the following languages would be an advantage: Mandarin, Korean or Japanese
