A key focus of this role is to understand the varied asset profile of the company and key asset modules and to ensure the integrity of the data and the system. The other areas of focus will be finance and procurement projects, financial reporting and month end.

Your primary duties and responsbilites will include:
Identifying the best method of collecting organisational data for analysis. Assessing quality and relevant of data based on organisational data collection needs Using data analysis to identify and report on strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities. Making recommendations for improvements based on findings. Communicating findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders Performing month-end accounting including preparation & posting of journals, review, and completion of appropriate integrity check of asset module and plant register. Assisting the Asset Accountant with asset onboarding, reporting and reconciliation. Becoming the subject matter expert on “acquire to retire” process and working closely with compliance and external audit team. Asset impairment review and review and analysis of profit on sale, effective life and depreciation by asset categories. Supporting key procurement processes, systems, and tools. Assist PM and GFC with various ad hoc analysis, modelling and month end reporting. Assisting in the development and deployment of process improvements, organization initiatives and projects/procurement activities. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Undertake any additional duties that are within your skill set and safe.
