PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Bookkeeper Manager is responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping for two entities:
Farm & Ranch Equipment Services (FRES) and Coastal Hay & Ag (CH&A). This individual must have a proven track record in managing all aspects of accounting for a start-up organization: billing/accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, job costing, inventory, POS transactions and financial statement preparation. The position reports directly to the ownership of FRES and CH&A as well as the senior management team of their parent organization, Coastal Vineyard Care Associates. This role interacts daily with fellow team members on both the mechanics and farming teams. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred. A background in agriculture and/or direct experience in a mechanics shop is ideal but not required. This is a fast-paced role that requires an individual who is highly organized and able to prioritize/multi-task. Both entities are growing and need an experienced professional who can scale the accounting functions for the future.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties for the Accounting Manager include, but are not limited to:
· Accounts Payable
o Daily processing of vendor bills
o Vendor Payments
o Reconciliation of credit card purchases
· Accounts Receivable
o Client Invoicing
o Collections/Client Interface
o Payment Processing
o Process daily cash receipts
o Process Point of Sale transactions
· Job Costing
o Setup jobs in work order system
o Post labor hours daily
o Post purchases daily
o Regular reporting to ownership of job profitability/status
· Inventory Controls/Management
· Financial Statement Preparation
SKILL / QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

· Bilingual preferred but not required
· Critical thinking; high degree of accuracy
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Highly organized
· Enjoys/willing to learn new systems/software

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· QuickBooks Online
· AA in accounting required
· BA/BS preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel) required
