Coastal Electric Hiring for Accountant Job at San Jose, CA Full Time

Job Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for posting all accounts payable invoices, issuing sales invoices, and entering contracts in the accounting system. The applicant needs to understand all financial transactions and implications throughout the company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Accounting operations, and all transactions related to the general ledger, receivables, and payables.
• Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)..

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Experience in construction business with activity-based project costing
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.
• Computer literate with construction industry specific software

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience
