ADMISSIONS RECRUITER

The Office of Admissions and Merit Awards at Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the position of Admissions Recruiter (Time Limited with Benefits – Comparable to Student Services Program Coordinator I).

Duties include, but are not limited to: represent the University at admissions recruitment events; effectively represent the University to prospective students and parents at off-campus middle/high school programs, fair programs, private visits, etc.; meet and greet guests who arrive at the University for a campus tour, conduct pre- and post-tour presentations, and answers questions when guest return from the tour; initiates activities designed to increase enrollment such as telephone campaigns, special e-mail campaigns, etc.; assist with the execution of on-campus events such as Discovery Day, Saturday Tours, Transfer Information Sessions, and Counselor programs; advise and counsel prospective students/applicants and their families on admissions criteria and related academic and student life issues through on- and off-campus interviews, telephone communications, and e-mails; attend and work all on- and off-campus admissions events as required; conduct presentations on the admissions process and related areas as requested; and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: a bachelor’s degree and a safe driving record is required. Preference given to recent graduates of Coastal Carolina University. Involvement in college through clubs, organizations, athletics, campus job, or similar is also preferred.

Time-limited position with benefits. Comparable to SC State Pay Band: 04. Salary range $29,061.00 to $41,415.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the University. Overnight and weekend travel and work are required.
