Essential Functions:
The Student Success Coach is responsible for promoting a positive and successful learning experience for CBC students to support recruitment and increase student retention, success, and completion. Responsible for quality success coaching/advising students.  Assisting students with goal setting and providing continuous communication and follow-up to maximize goal attainment. This position specializes in the area of Recruitment/Retention  (see other duties for more information).

Travel Requirements:
Travel is required for this position. Must have valid driver’s license, and auto insurance to travel to other locations to attend meetings/training. A personal vehicle is required if a CBC vehicle is not available. We encourage carpooling with other CBC employees. 
Environment:
Work is performed under limited supervision in a typical office and/or classroom setting.  Position may require working evenings and weekends. 
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree in special education, psychology/sociology, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education.  Bachelors Preferred must be complete with in a reasonable time frame.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with students, staff, and the general public courteously and professionally.
