Coast to Coast Fleet Managment Hiring for Finance Manager Job at Durham, NC Full Time

Multiple office positions open for our newly acquired business in Durham North Carolina.

There is one admin staff for six different profit centers.

We are looking for multiple positions to be filled in the next two weeks.

Starting with office manager, duties include managing proper company procedure, overseeing and managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, HR and The IT DEPARTMENT.

The main purpose of this position is to protect the companies assets and ensure we meet our liabilities by proper .reporting and providing accurate budgets for each department as well as sales goals needed.to achieve the future goals of the companies expansion plans. Applicant must have a credit score higher than 700 to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations
• Participate in regular tax audits and payroll
• Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
• Manage month-end and year-end closing
• Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
• Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
• Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
• Follow accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets
• Ensure proper P&L and balance sheet,
• Utilize internal accounting programs and procedures
• Ensure all taxes are paid and accounts payable items are not exceeding the budget.
• Reduce unnecessary costs
• Quarterly reviews of all expenses
• Ensure compliance with the law

Reduce late fees by following schedule and communicating with sales and service team to ensure they know what the weekly goals are

Departments that you will be responsible for managing our accounts payable, accounts receivable, IT department, HR .

Skills

• Proven work experience as an Accounting Supervisor
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. FreshBooks and Zoho)
• Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas)
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Team management skills
• Ability to prioritize work
• BS degree in Accounting or Finance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,136.00 – $80,000.00 per year
