Coadys Personnel Hiring for Bookkeeper/Finance Manager Job at Sydney Full Time

Working closely with the Managing Director, you will oversee Finance and Administration procedures. You will be hands on in your approach, supporting operations where required and providing recommendations arising from finance reports in a multi-company environment.

Specific accountabilities will include but not be limited to:-

• Compliance Management – ensuring effective upkeep of company registrations, insurances and licenses
• Managing creditors and debtors
• Taxation, reporting and lodgement including BAS, PAYG, FBT, Payroll Tax (reporting to an external Accountant)
• Job finance management (work in progress, profitability analysis)
• Payroll, Superannuation, workers compensation, leave register maintenance and planning, reviews and reporting
• Reconciliation and banking
• Regular reporting for management including cash flow, work in progress, P & L, tax planning
• Government grants, schemes, rebate schedules, applications and claims
• Feasibility and sensitivity analysis
• Business Financial planning and strategy
• Liaising with external legal and accounting consultants as needed
• Finance team recruitment, training, leadership, reviews etc.

To be considered for this role you will have a robust approach to working together with a team and contributing to the leadership group during a time of digital transformation and organisational expansion. A minimum of 5 years experience in finance management across multiple entities is required and strong knowledge in the property, facilities maintenance, asset management and / or building and services industries is essential. You will have excellent management and presentation skills along with experience in business planning, budgeting, feasibility and analysis. Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance are essential as are advanced skills in Excel and MYOB.

The business is committed to offering a work/lifestyle balance to their employees and whilst presence in the office is important, a few days working from home on an agreed roster to coordinate with the team is encouraged (but not enforced).

The company is located approximately 10 – 15 minutes walk from the rail station (North Shore) and parking is also provided (rotational spaces).

A guide on base salary is $90,000 – $110,000 + Super with the opportunity to earn incentives down the track. A company laptop would be provided.
