We are currently seeking an Internal Logistics Specialist to join our team at our Saskatoon Manufacturing Plant.

Reporting to the Materials Manager, this position supports logistics activities and defines processes and procedures for the lean replenishment of materials. They are the subject matter expert on lean manufacturing techniques and production systems in relation to internal logistics.

To be successful in this role we believe:

• You are passionate for planning, material flow and continuous improvement.
• You have a university degree in an Engineering or Operations Management field with desired specialization in Logistics. Other education backgrounds related to Logistics Engineering will be considered.
• You have a broad knowledge of line scheduling, rates of production, machines, tooling, set-ups, unit variations, orders and speeds of operation, capacities, sheets, blueprints, alternative processes.
• You are adept at IT systems and Microsoft Office products – Access, Power Point, Excel, Word, Visio and Project.
• You have experience in implementing lean material flow with suppliers in a similar industry preferred.
