Job Title: Marketing Consultant for Conference Seat Filling

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Consultant to assist us in filling seats for an upcoming conference. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in various marketing strategies and tactics, including but not limited to digital marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, and content marketing. The Marketing Consultant will work closely with the conference organizers to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to maximize attendance at the event.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to promote the conference and increase attendance
• Conduct market research to identify potential attendees and target audiences
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to promote the conference
• Develop and execute social media marketing campaigns to promote the conference
• Develop and execute digital advertising campaigns to promote the conference
• Create and distribute promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, and other marketing collateral
• Develop and implement strategies to engage with potential attendees and encourage them to register for the conference
• Analyze marketing data and adjust marketing strategies as necessary to maximize attendance
• Provide regular updates to the conference organizers on marketing progress and attendance projections
• Collaborate with other members of the conference team, including event planners and program coordinators, to ensure a successful event

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
• Proven experience as a marketing consultant, preferably in the events industry
• Strong knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics, including email marketing, social media marketing, and digital advertising
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and software, such as Mailchimp, Wordpress, etc.
• Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics is a plus
• Knowledge of Medical Conferences and Continuing Medical Education is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 – $100.00 per hour
