CMC are hiring! We have a permanent opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join us in our Barangaroo, Sydney office. Please note that we operate onsite working and would need someone to come into our Barangaroo office 5 days per week.
This position is only open to Sydney based candidates with full working rights (e.g. Permanent Resident/Citizen).

ROLE SUMMARY
This role is responsible for providing executive support to the Head of APAC and Canada and Directors. As part of the Facilities team, you will be accountable for creating a helpful, friendly and efficient culture where day-to-day support is provided across a range of business services. As a senior member of the Facilities team, provide advice and guidance to team members and provide back-up during periods of annual leave as required.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Support
• Provide Executive support to Head of APAC and Canada, including:
• Provide Executive support to Directors, including diary management, travel bookings, event organisation, expense claims/card reconciliations and other ad-hoc administrative tasks
• Provide support to CEO & Deputy CEO with travel bookings and administration support when visiting APAC and Canada
• Provide support to international visitors if required
Business Services
• Maintain membership on CSR Committee (Corporate Social Responsibility) assisting with yearly planning, meeting minutes, calendar updates, implementation and organisation of events/fundraising initiatives
Other/Company
• Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training
• When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and consistent high quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets
• Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality
• Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role
• Read and comply with CMC policies and procedures as they relate to your employment
• Complete all mandatory compliance training
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management/organisation skills
• Event planning/management experience
• Advanced MS Outlook, Word, & Powerpoint and Intermediate Excel & Canva
