CMA Recruitment Group is working exclusively with a prestigious growing organisation based in Southampton, Hampshire to recruit a Group Financial Controller.

The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for the accounting operations of the Group and liaison with outsourced functions and advisors in order to ensure strategic, budgetary and statutory targets and obligations are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely production of management and financial accounts across all Group entities
  • Ensure accounting and financial records of the Group are maintained accurately and in line with general accounting principles
  • To develop and improve the financial and accounting systems
  • To regularly review and analyse the group’s overhead and capital expenditure to ensure costs are controlled
  • To lead the set up of accounting processes and other back office systems for new construction business
  • Production of regular short, medium and long term P&L and cashflow forecasts for all group entities
  • Lead annual audit and be principal point of liaison with audit and tax advisors
Suitable candidate

You will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with demonstrable financial management experience; a proven track record of financial reporting and planning; a demonstrable understanding of tax and statutory requirements. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop long terms relationships with all stakeholder groups.
