Clubhouse Tutoring is Looking For Tutor at Remote Full Time

At Clubhouse Tutoring, we’re building a community of dedicated educators committed to offering effective, individualized instruction in Literacy and Mathematics to students worldwide; and we’d love for you to be a part of it.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions to students currently enrolled in Montessori Schools utilizing the Koala GO platform.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Communicate with parents and Montessori guides to provide updates on student progress, send appropriate materials home for continued learning.
• Participate in training and professional development activities to improve skills and understanding of evidenced based teaching methods.

Our Ideal Candidate has:

• Previous teaching experience in a classroom or other setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and compassion for struggling students
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of each student
• Excellent computer/Microsoft Office skills

Qualifications:

• Some post secondary (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Reliable, compassionate, highly skilled and motivated individual
• Previous teaching or tutoring preferred
• Candidates must have a passion for education and a desire to learn S.O.R. teaching methods.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills

Compensation:

• $30/hr CAD

Job Type:

• Need to have some daytime availability
