The Role:

We are looking for a proactive, diligent Finance Assistant to assist our busy Finance Department.

• Processing purchase invoices for each of the companies
• Ensuring all invoices match purchase orders or are authorised appropriately
• Liaising with all the relevant departments/Directors within the company with suppliers in regard to any invoice/PO queries
• Coding of invoices/credit notes to the correct P&L, Creditor and VAT accounts
• Process invoices for payment
• Managing expenses on a weekly basis and deal with all expenses related queries
• Reconciliation of supplier accounts and statements
• Raise sales invoices for websites on a daily basis
• Assisting with general day-to-day administration within the department

You will ideally have previous experience of managing ledgers, undertaking reconciliations, and contacting suppliers. You will be a quick learner with experience of using Sage.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practice
• Excellent communication skills
• Desire to learn and for self-development within a fast-moving business
• Previous experience of Sage
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly organised and able to multi-task several projects at any one time.
• A positive, ‘can do’ approach
• Immediate start preferable
