Club Champion Golf Hiring for Accountant (Accounting Analyst) – Golf Club Fitter/Manufacturer Job at Willowbrook, IL Full Time

JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Analyst is primarily responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable process, recording journal entries, managing the corporate credit card and managing the expense reimbursement process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Input AP invoices into general ledger by vendor and G&A cost center

· Prepare check runs & ensure they line up with forecasted outputs

· Maintain weekly cash forecast & provide estimated payments each week

· Manage capex and ensure invoices follow the process & recorded to the correct projects

· Review available credit on corporate credit card daily & order / cancel cards as necessary

· Process expense reports on a weekly basis

· Assist the accounting team in month and year end close processes

· Provide internal support to all intercompany departments

· Perform daily bank and cash reconciliations

· Record journal entries, credit card transactions, and gift cards

· Prepare ad-hoc and analysis reports as requested

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

· College degree in finance or accounting preferred

· Minimum of 2-3 years work experience

· Open to corporate accounting experience and external audit firm professionals

· CPA Preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

· Possesses general accounting knowledge

· Extremely organized and detail orientated

· Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel

· Quick learner who can prioritize and multi-task

· Able to take direction to work independently and as part of a team

· Takes pride and ownership in job responsibilities

WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Office environment where the climate is controlled

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES AND COORDINATION:

· Direct reports include Senior level accounting team members

· Standard office equipment including a computer and phone

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
