Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager with at least 16 years of experience to join our team.
• Our client is implementing a new child welfare information system using Microsoft Dynamics 365, in collaboration with a system integrator (SI).
• As the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for providing oversight of the SI vendor’s work activities and ensuring the successful implementation of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Create and onboard project teams, integrating them into the organization and providing a clear vision of the product
• Assist agile teams in the efficient implementation and use of Azure DevOps (ADO) to measure and quality and performance measures to the Program’s Portal
• Facilitate communication and information exchange between external groups and the project team
• Monitor project progress, provide timely feedback, and drive a culture of agility and learning
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with business, senior management, and stakeholders
• Develop detailed project plans, communication documents, and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Conduct daily team meetings to capture updates, address roadblocks, and ensure project progress
• Manage a central repository of milestones identified by multiple workstream leads, provide status updates, and escalate risks
• Maintain a risk and issues registry and track progress
• Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
• Provide oversight of system integrator agile processes by validating staff velocity and managing time and task submissions on a weekly basis
• Provide timely metrics and audit outcomes to gauge progress towards quality objectives
• Promote continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes to identify and remove project barriers

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 16 years of progressive consulting leadership experience in an enterprise environment
• Minimum of 16 years of experience managing, coordinating, and establishing priorities for the entire project lifecycle
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong ability to convey technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty
• Experience in preparing complex technical documentation
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Active Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance) or Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (PMI) equivalent certification
• Project Management Professional Certification (desired)
• Experience acting as a Scrum Master
• Experience with large-scale IT projects
• Experience in the Human Services or Child Welfare sector
• Proficiency in complex Excel skills
