Clover Food Lab Hiring for Sr. Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

Clover Food Lab is a values-based fast casual restaurant with giant goals: we’re seeking to address global warming by getting meat lovers to dream about vegetables. We currently operate 14 restaurants in the Boston area, a Commissary Kitchen in Cambridge, a local Meal-Box delivery program, and plan to keep growing! Clover has been featured in both local and national press and has won numerous awards for our food and progressive business practices.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to own the complete month-end close cycle for a growing company. We prefer local candidates with the ability to work a hybrid schedule but open to fully remote candidates as well. We’re looking for the right person!

DUTIES

• Completes month-end close process for a multi-location enterprise including the completion of financial statements
• Maintains general ledger reconciliations
• Calculates budget variances and reports significant issues to management
• Creates Excel models to analyze business results
• Assists with weekly management reporting on sales and other key metrics
• Completes bank reconciliations including the reconciliation of cash received from multiple credit card processors
• Looks to automate and simplify processes to expedite monthly financial close

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledgeable and comfortable using different systems such as Sage Intacct
• Experience in food/restaurants preferred
• A passion for food and a positive attitude
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Accounting designation (CMA, CPA or CA) a plus!

Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
