Our clients utilize Clockworks to spend less time troubleshooting problems and more time fixing them, to be less reactive and more proactive. The impacts of this shift are improved indoor air quality, reduced energy consumption, and operational costs.

Our mission is to have a massive positive impact on the built environment. Our enterprise customers and partners across the world have completed over 37k tasks related to issues identified by Clockworks’ fault detection and diagnostics (FDD) and saved over $37M. We currently monitor over 450 million square feet of buildings in over 30 countries.

Job Purpose

Higher Education, Life Sciences, Hospital Systems, and Commercial Real Estate owners leverage the Clockworks building analytics platform to enhance building operations, optimize maintenance workflows, and improve occupant experience.

The Technical Account Manager will work closely with our direct accounts to ensure their successful use of Clockworks within their organization. This role will utilize the Clockworks platform to on success metrics for all named direct accounts, and drive engagement with the Clockworks platform leading to task creation and completion. The TAM will prepare for and conduct meetings with enterprise accounts to review key success metrics and provide product training as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain executive relationships with key accounts to continually define and prove value while coordinating internal resources to deliver exceptional outcomes.
• Own renewals and expansions across all named accounts
• Establish workflows with all enterprise accounts to effectively act on clockworks findings.
• Establish and manage regular QBR/BR process across all accounts
• Work with Technical Operations Center to establish clear process for leveraging engineering resources through internal ticketing for tracking.
• Weekly touchpoints with Lead Service Engineers to assess engagement.
• Determine when engineering support is needed.
• Work with marketing to coordinate member submissions for speaking engagements and industry awards.
• Systematically document customer stories for marketing
• Provide “Voice of the Customer” feedback regularly to the product team

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be able to move seamlessly between technical engineering topics, controls integration and business model discussions on digital transformation of building conditions.

• B.S. in Engineering and/or significant HVAC, smart buildings, controls and facilities experience
• Experience with facilities management, HVAC, mechanical or controls services
• Has 5+ years of experience providing direct support to key accounts
• Has experience working with clients in a commercial context, discussing contract pricing and payment terms
• Is effective when communicating with clients, over the phone and through email, from maintenance technicians to C-level executives
• Has good troubleshooting skills
• Enjoys solving problems
• Can work independently and with teams
• Wants to be part of a small, innovative company with the unique opportunities and challenges that go with that
• Has experience with Microsoft products, especially Microsoft Excel and presentation tools like PowerPoint and PowerBI
• Is Confident, self-motivated, and comfortable quickly grasping new technologies
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
