An award winning hospital part of a large health system is looking for an experienced Director of Business Development to join their team.

This 180 bed hospital provides innovative, high-quality, patient centered care to all of it’s patients who walk through their doors. They provide a wide range of services including neurology, heart and vascular, orthopedics, sport’s medicine, women’s health, emergency services, behavioral health, and much more! This hospital was recently recognized with with an “A” for the Spring 2022 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade.

The Director Education is responsible for providing strategic direction that advance the delivery of patient care, education, research and professional practice. The Director will foster a continuous learning environment through assessment, development, implementation, evaluation and revision based on outcomes of high quality educational programs. The Director will oversee clinical orientation, professional development of clinical staff, and professional excellence through ongoing Magnet and DNV standard compliance. The Director may oversee other clinical support areas. This position also coordinates agreements and clinical affiliations with university schools of nursing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, one degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• Three years’ leadership experience, preferably in an education setting
• Five years’ experience in education or staff development
