The Director of Nurse Education will report up to the Director of Nursing. This Education Nurse Director will spearhead staff development and create educational programs for the team of aides and registered nurses who work at this facility. This Nurse Education Leader will have the opportunity to work closely with Hospital Administration and the neighboring facilities to lead best in class programs.

This hospital generally sees a lower volume because it is a community hospital. As a part of this facility is 50 skilled nursing beds, an emergency room, and about 35 acute care beds. The Director of Nurse Education will oversee and be in charge of hospital orientation, providing in-service education to staff, and leading continual education programs for the employees of the hospital, primarily Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. This Nurse Education Director will ensure state and government regulations are being met.
