Reporting up to the Chief Nursing Offer, this role will oversee a tenured team of excellent Education Managers and Unit based Clinical Educators. This Director of Clinical Education will be supported by two tenured Clinical Education Managers and will collaborate with the Nursing Administration team.

With close to 250 general Medical Surgical and Observation beds and 100 specialty care beds, the Director of Clinical Education will be a major player in Nurse Development, program and policy creation and education, and will be an extremely meaningful part of this team and culture. You will work closely with exceptional physicians, techs, and staff to spearhead education for this hospital and help the teams provide and manage patient centered quality care.

The primary goals of the Director of Clinical Education include overseeing clinical competency orientation, professional development of clinical staff, compliance and professional excellence through ongoing Magnet and DNV standard compliance as well as guiding, coaching and mentoring staff. This role will evidenced-based project research and creation for the hospital. As part of this Magnet recognized facility, the Director of Clinical Education will maintain training and operations initiatives and be a representative in hospital committees.
