This non-profit health system, spanning over 20 facilities in 3 states, is actively interviewing for a Certified Director to lead the Pastoral Education services. This role will be based out of a hospital on the Gulf Coast of Texas, but will have the opportunity to affect Pastoral and Spiritual operations across the system.
The Director of Pastoral Education will report to the Chief Mission Integration and Spiritual Care Officer, and will fill a mission critical role for this healthcare organization. Supported by front-line Certified Pastoral Educators, this person will manage the Clinical Spiritual Education program for the health system. This planning and developing the curricula for CPE Units, implementing educational programs, and leading the hiring process. As a strategic and mission central leader for the health system, this Director will have the opportunity to work with Hospital Executive Leaders, Ministry / Market-level leadership, Mission Integration teams, and key community partners.
