We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as a Clinical Communication Skills Lead, MBChB within our team, to lead the clinical communication skills programme in the undergraduate medical degree course.
The post holder will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the development and delivery of the clinical communication skills curriculum across Years 1–5 of the MBChB programme. This will include close collaboration with faculty, students, and patient partners.
They will work in the internationally recognised Dundee Institute for Healthcare Simulation and in partnership with the Clinical Skills and Early Patient Experience Leads to ensure full alignment and integration of all taught elements across these curricula. They will also collaborate with block convenors and teaching leads to ensure that communication skills teaching is appropriately mapped to block specific learning outcomes.
In addition, the post holder will work closely with OSCE Year Leads and the MBChB OSCE and Assessment Lead to ensure coherence between taught content and assessed material.
