The opportunity:
ClimateXChange – Scotland’s Centre of Expertise connecting climate change research and policy – are looking for an experienced project manager with solid knowledge of the Scottish climate policy landscape and a passion for connecting climate science and policy. You will join the busy ClimateXChange team to plan and manage research and knowledge exchange activities across climate resilience and social change.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The salary for this post is £50,253 – £61,759 per annum.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Extensive experience in a role connecting research and policy.
Demonstrable research project management experience.
Excellent understanding of the Scottish adaptation and resilience policy landscape, and wider climate policy landscaped as linked to social change.
Proven track record of writing for a policy audience, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to network and build up a solid base of trusted contacts.
