Our client, a well-known and market-leading residential connectivity and networking service provider, is currently recruiting for a Networking Engineer to join their Physical Installs team. The Networking Engineer will be responsible for the remote configuration and Installation of networks (Switches and Routers) as well as configuring, installing, and troubleshooting hardware.
Responsibilities for the Networking Engineer
- Assisting and supporting the existing network engineering team during project delivery
- Commissioning WAN circuits / MPLS / Ethernet / Internet
- Configuring and deploying Multi multi-vendor devices (Switches, Routers and Firewalls) including SDWAN devices such as Cisco Meraki.
Key Skills & Experience for the Networking Engineer
Essential
- Cisco CCNA Technical Accreditation or equivalent experience knowledge and competence of multi-site LAN & WAN environments including IP routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, WiFi and Security.
- Proven knowledge and competence of WANLAN technologies and products
- Be competent at configuration and troubleshooting of WAN/LAN products, multi vendor skills would be a bonus
- Full UK Driving License
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
