Clearit USA Customs Brokers Hiring for Import Specialist at Champlain, NY Full Time

Job Responsibilities

• File customs entries electronically ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Stay updated with relevant customs laws, regulations, and trade policies to ensure compliance.
• Data entry for customs entries, documentation, and submission rejections, and other ad-hoc s.
• Suggest and support on process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of customs clearance operations.
• Utilize customs brokerage software systems and tools to review and troubleshoot customs entries and billing
• Interact with clients to gather required information, provide updates on customs clearance status, and address any concerns or questions while providing exceptional customer service via chats and outbound calls

Who we are looking for:

• Experience in Customs Clearance processing (Ocean, Air, Ground)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Excellent customer relation skills
• Motivated and ability to multi-task
• Strong English communication skills
• Computer savvy; experience in SmartBorder, an asset
• Experience with ACE, an asset
