Your new role

• Deliver the highest standard in professional conduct, personal presentation and company image
• Contribute to maintaining a respectful workplace for all employees
• Collaborate with the general accounting team to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

• Assist with the production of periodical accounts and balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with divisional timetables, accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements
• Develop a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
• Assist with preparation and reporting to statutory bodies on finance and taxation obligations including Fringe Benefits Tax returns, Business Activity Statements, Excise and any other business specific requirements as directed

Your Skills and Experience

• Relevant accounting and commercial experience in a complex, diverse, multi-site matrix business
• Experience in the development and monitoring of budgets in a complex business by establishing and transforming operational discipline and processes to drive P&L performance
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or relevant studies
• Currently studying towards CA or CPA, is preferred
• Intermediate knowledge in MS Suite of products
