Instructional positions posted between April 15 and June 15 will post in phases. Phase I is first. If the position remains unfilled after two weeks, the position will move into Phase III.


Phase I – only viewable by current Clay County School District employees

  • Open to all transfer/internal teacher applicants (current instructional employees/all contract types), including those returning from leave
  • Not open to New Hires or current Support employees
  • Teachers must have in-field certification
  • Principals may choose to fill the position on the sixth day of the posting or after


Phase III – viewable by all

  • Open to all current employees and new hires
  • Principals may choose to fill the position on the sixth day of the posting or after
