Classic Prep Hiring for Account Manager at Norwalk/Rowayton, Connecticut Full Time

The Account Manager is responsible to drive business with specialty wholesale accounts, majors and dropship partners to meet internal goals and profitability objectives.

Responsibilities:

Drive Business

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet sales goals by growing existing and building new opportunities in our Specialty Store business.
• Develop and execute a sales plan to build new business with major retailer(s).
• Manage our dropshipping partners including Neiman Marcus Group and Maisonette.

Account Management

• Conduct virtual showings with accounts, travel to stores & attend seasonal trade shows as necessary to strengthen retailer relationships and generate new business.
• Foster relationships with our accounts via email, phone, and video calls as an on needed basis.
• Push brand merchandise strategy to accounts based on the Creative Director’s vision.
• Work closely with existing accounts to grow profitability by analyzing and monitoring their sales and orders to maximize retail performance and reorders.
• Monitor digital brand representation and pricing is in line with Classic Prep guidance.

Operations

• Ensure customer orders are shipped correctly and invoiced on time.
• As the point person for NuOrder, manage product data, merchandising and line sheets.
• Organize and provide necessary seasonal product data to our partners.
• Manage customer invoicing, payments, and releasing orders for shipment.
• Execute reports on Nuorder and dropshipping platforms and analyze selling data by style/ category/program/season.
• Communicate with design/merchandising on special requests and feedback from accounts.

Personal Profile

• Wholesale experience, preferably in the luxury industry.
• Interest to work in an all-hands on deck, small-team / entrepreneurial environment with exposure to merch, design, production, marketing, retail and e-commerce.
• Strong communication and interpersonal/people skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility.
• Nuorder experience a huge plus.
