Clarion UK Hiring for Bookings Coordinator – Education Job at Remote Full Time

Established in 2002, Clarion Interpreting UK is now the UK’s leading supplier of British Sign Language Interpreters to the Deaf. We work with hospitals, courts, universities, schools, the police, and large corporate organisations to ensure that Deaf people have access to a first-class interpreting service.

This role is based in our Bookings Department, where we are the supplier of non-spoken language support to a number of corporate businesses, councils, hospitals, doctors, Universities and community settings around England. In addition, we work with police forces, solicitors, coroners, the probation service, CPS and others. This Role will be within the Education team.

Working as part of a small and experienced team you will fill booking requests for language support, offer advice, negotiate fees and work creatively to ensure bookings are filled.

You will need to be confident dealing with people on the telephone (for students, universities, and Student Finance) and dealing with some material which can be challenging. Additionally, you will need good IT skills, have an eye for detail and a great memory.

This is a truly interesting role in which you will be helping Deaf people in the UK achieve equal access.

This role is home-based.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
