Responsibilities

• Be the key point of contact for Business Units and customers matters related to Australia Order To Cash (OTC) matters.
• Support the Logistics Manager with country logistics matters such as: RFQ projects, 3rd party vendor relationships, service performance and regulatory compliance.
• Represent Australia to support & implement Clariant Global Business Services (GBS) Order-To-Cash initiatives.
• Lead, manage and motivate a team of customer service representatives in fulfilling the customers, business requirements and revenue targets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in Australia, providing outstanding customer service and addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests.
• Coordinate and manage customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing, tracking, and delivery.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, warehousing, and transportation, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and pricing to effectively assist customers and provide accurate information.
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring accurate record-keeping, order history, and invoicing.
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding order updates, delivery schedules, and potential delays or issues.
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and improve processes, providing feedback and recommendations to the Logistics team.
• Address customer complaints or escalations, striving to resolve issues promptly and effectively while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is highly desirable, preferably in the chemical industry or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of English.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle customer inquiries and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate order management and customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency in using customer relationship management software (SAP) and other relevant tools.
• Ability to work well under pressure and, meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes is an advantage.
