Position Summary

The VP, Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Clarest Health’s comprehensive strategy, catering to both B2C and B2B segments. The key leadership position will be the right hand to the CGO and will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives across various divisions and product lines, ensuring the growth of revenue and market share in both consumer, payer and provider environments. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional sales and leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a track record of delivering outstanding results in all healthcare ecosystems.

Essential Functions – Primary Position Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership:
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, setting clear goals and targets for all products and business units
• Develop, implement, iterate on comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue and growth
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and success within the sales teams
• Team Development and Management:
• Recruit, train, mentor, upskill, and motivate a diverse team of sales professionals
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and customer-centricity
• Set and monitor performance expectations, providing regular feedback and coaching
• Sales Strategy:
• Analyze market trends, consumer needs, and competitive intelligence to develop and adjust sales strategies for all divisions
• Pro-actively identify growth opportunities and recommend new markets, products, or services
• Sales Process Improvement:
• Improve sales processes, CRM adoption rates, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for all sales departments
• Sales Performance and Revenue Growth:
• Drive sales activities and initiative to meet or exceed revenue targets in all markets
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and individual/team performance
• Implement data-driven decision-making processes to optimize sales operations
• Collaborate with Other Departments
• Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, clinical strategy, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment between sales efforts and overall business objectives
• Partner with executive leadership to provide insights and recommendations for overall growth strategy

Qualifications And Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 year’s experience
• Extensive knowledge of pharmacy, payer, and provider markets
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Extraordinary communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to deliver compelling messages to all levels of associates and leadership
• Leadership experience in medium-sized matrixed organizations which are face-paced and, at times, ambiguous
• Proven, influential leadership and negotiation skills
• Smart, creative, compelling, driven. Not afraid to lead others past their comfort zone(s). Creates a sense of urgency and is energized by speed
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders; consultative and collaborative style that allows for influence without authority
• Ability to operate and thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Extraordinary communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to deliver compelling messages to all levels of associates and leadership

Position Type/Expected Hours: The role is a full-time position, which is traditionally 40 hours a week. The demands of the role may require additional hours as needed.
