Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers in face-to-face interactions, providing personalized assistance and comprehensive information about our community solar programs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers interested in solar energy, addressing inquiries, and explaining the benefits and advantages of community solar.
• Guide customers through the enrollment process, answering questions, and ensuring a smooth transition to solar energy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate installations, paperwork, and utility company interactions to deliver seamless customer experiences.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, ensuring efficient communication and coordination between enrollment, billing, and ongoing support.
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring complete satisfaction and exceeding customer expectations.
• Actively educate customers on solar energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living practices, promoting a broader understanding of renewable energy solutions.
• Support marketing initiatives by attending community events, trade shows, and informational sessions to engage with prospective customers and generate interest in our community solar programs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and solar energy policies to provide informed insights to customers and address any regulatory questions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in renewable energy, sustainability, or related fields is a plus.
• Previous experience in face-to-face customer service or sales roles, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to customers in a clear and engaging manner.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to finding tailored solutions that meet individual customer needs.
• Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
