This is a great opportunity to join our Manufacturing and Fabrication Team and work in the largest fabrication facility of its kind at our Tomago Facility. Working on a variety of complex and high-profile projects, you will gain hands on experience and work within a world class team.

• Will have an exposure to CNC Operations
• CNC Operator Training will be provided.

The Role

The Main Duties Of This Position Are

• Experienced Trades Assistant
• Operate a variety of tools and machines including forklifts, power hammers, grinders, power drills or other cutting and shaping tools and machines
• Perform assembly and dismantling operations, such as screwing or bolting
• Solder or spot weld components using electrical spot or welding machines
• Transport tools, materials and work pieces to and from sites or workbenches
• Aid all positions on fabrication projects in a range of tasks
• Loading and delivering project materials
• Manage OH&S and environmental hazards in the workplace and off site
• Conduct general workshop/yard cleanliness, tidiness and preparing project site for works

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• Workshop experience
• Post Apprenticeship
• Relevant experience with similar structures, specifications and standard
