How can you change it up?
As our HR Communications Manager, you will be part of the HR department, working closely with the HR department including, Business Partners, Learning and Development, HR Operations, Rewards, Recruitment, and Diversity & Inclusion. You will focus on optimising our employee experience and engaging employees on HR initiatives that are important to the business and employees such as performance management, talent management, monthly recognition awards, culture & behaviours.
This role is part-time, and we’d love to hear from you if you are looking for a 3 or 4 day working week.
In this role, you can expect to:
Development of structured communication plans and compelling messages to inform, engage and motivate employees on different HR activities, to support our inclusive culture The CityFibre Way where employees are given the opportunity to develop, collaborate and grow
Development of content for different internal channels that is easy to understand and incites employees to take action
Working with stakeholders and Directors to create ideas and content for the monthly All Staff events and Line Manager events, advising and guiding on best practice and content
Project Lead for the coordination of employee engagement activity and our Engagement Champions across the business communications for Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
Manage our Manager’s Toolkit on our intranet to make sure they have the latest guidance to be effective Line Managers
Development of employee questionnaires and surveys on key HR topics, such as Agile Working, to help drive 2-way communication and analyse the data and insights to help shape our business practices and processes
What will you bring to the role?
We’re looking for a professional and adaptable individual who would like to develop their career in both HR and Internal Communications. You’ll have strong experience with structured communication plans to deliver compelling messages . You will have a can-do attitude and problem-solving mindset. We are looking for a candidate who can be comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid and demanding environment, collaborating effectively with a talented and supportive team, but also happy owning and working independently on certain projects.
You will also have:
Experience in communications, ideally in mid-large sized organisations, creating owning and delivering suitable communications messages for the whole employee population
Experience of working in or alongside an HR function
Ability to develop strong and engaging content for internal and external communication channels
Strong stakeholder management, copywriting and verbal communication skills
Skilled at all aspects of project management from planning through to implementation, time management and decision-making
