Job Summary
Corporate Services is a service area in the City that enables City staff to deliver programs and services to Torontonians. Our focus is on the delivery of effective, efficient and modern services to all Divisions, Agencies and Corporations. Its services seek to offer operational excellence and value in line with City priorities, based on specialized knowledge, best practices and technology.
Reporting to the Manager Strategic Policy & Planning, Corporate Services, the Project Coordinator QASI will work on the Strategic Policy & Planning team supporting the Deputy City Manager, Corporate Services, in driving strategic projects and priority transformation initiatives. This small dynamic team focuses on the City’s desired outcomes in the long-term and plans strategies on how to achieve them. This requires creativity that stretches thinking and challenges assumptions, all while proactively engaging with broad stakeholders to co-create solutions.
The Project Coordinator QASI will support a group of Management Consultants and Business Analysts. The individual will be an enthusiastic, creative self-starter with a desire to learn about Customer Experience Transformation within a large organization. They will specifically look at standardizing process and technology to ensure a seamless experience for the residents, businesses and guests of Toronto.
Strategic Policy & Planning Unit, Corporate Real Estate Management City Division
Corporate Real Estate Management is a City Division that is modernizing the delivery of real estate services. As stewards of the City’s real estate assets, the Division takes a strategic approach to asset management and aligns to industry best practices. Corporate Real Estate Management delivers excellence and value in real estate solutions and is committed to creating accessible, welcoming, and safe environments for all City employees, residents, and communities.
Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Policy & Planning, Corporate Real Estate Management, the Project Coordinator QASI will work out of the Office of the Executive Director and support the Division’s key strategic and transformational initiative, implementing the City-Wide Real Estate model; a multi-year initiative that will modernize the delivery of real estate services.
The Project Coordinator QASI will support a group of specialized single contributors such as Program Managers, Business Management Consultants, and Senior Project Managers on communication, divisional collaboration, project monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. The individual will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and innovative, with a desire to learn.
