Description:
As a People Advisor, you’ll be the central point of contact for the People Directorate, working with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation on a variety of HR related functions and services. Some of your day to day duties will include:
Providing expert advice and guidance on Award and EA terms, conditions of employment, legislative requirements and various People Policies and procedures
Providing guidance on, and managing a variety of People related applications such as parental leave, purchased leave, staff development plans, probations, etc
Reporting and analysis on data from HRIS (Aurion) and online People systems (Elmo)
Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers of the People team to drive open communication, compliance and ensure effectiveness and efficiency
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date organisational information data (eg processing re-structures) and employee information data (eg acting arrangements; changes to employment status)
Processing new starters and terminations, and providing advice to line managers on the application of the relevant policies and procedures
This is a generalist HR role where you will have the opportunity to work with Payroll, Employee Relations, Organisational Development, Talent Acquisition, Safety and Risk. The role has an annual salary of $73k to $84k per annum + 10% super + a monthly day off arrangement. It is a full time position, however considerations may be given to part time arrangements of 30+ hours per week.
