This is important professional work in strategic marketing, development of promotional campaigns, programs, and related material, and preparing and providing appropriate, timely, accurate information to the media, internal clients, and the public with the goal of enhancing public awareness of the City’s activities, services, programs, plans, projects, and current events of public interest. Work involves planning, coordinating, and executing marketing and communications plans; presenting highly professional oral and written communications to the public and news media; establishing professional working and trust relationships with the public, internal clients, and media; developing and implementing promotional campaigns and programs; and arranging and preparing marketing plans, including traditional and digital materials. Other duties include research; writing/copyediting; distribution of information; and collection and preparation of special information to be used by the City Administrators and other City Officials in presenting oral and written communication to the public, employees, and news media.
Salary: $55,682 – $88,774
