Liveable, sustainable and prosperous – this is our aspiration for Perth. To continue delivering our vision we are seeking a Finance Officer for our Accounts Payable team to supervise the functions of the Accounts Payable area.

Reporting to the Financial Accounting Lead, this position will support the City by:

• Providing a high level of customer service and ensuring the timely payment of all supplier invoices.
• Supervising and managing the accounts payable team, providing guidance and training for staff development
• Providing training to City staff on accounts payable processes (goods receipting, invoice approval etc.)

To be successful in this position, you will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in an accounts payable role, along with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

You will also have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, with intermediate MS Word and Excel skills. Previous experience supervising a small team is desirable.
