BASIC PURPOSE
Community Service Officers (CSOs) perform duties that support professional and commissioned personnel working at the Lacey Police Department, including assisting police officers as requested in non-emergency situations, transporting arrestees to jails, guarding arrestees at medical facilities, writing s of some not in progress misdemeanor violations including found and lost property, cleaning and organizing the main station and substations, and performing special assignments as directed by management. The position does not require a full commission, nor does it require a firearm to be carried. The Lacey Police Department is an actively engaged full-service law enforcement agency which provides a wide range of law enforcement and social services to the Lacey community.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent AND has some experience in customer service, including working with the public (face-to-face).
