- High School Graduate or GED
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills
- Experience operating a computer, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to alphabetize
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks; push heavy carts, lift up to 40 lbs and maneuver among high and low shelves

Previous library experience
Customer service Performs Circulation related functions checking in and checking out materials, processes patron memberships, assists with library account related issues, and answers and directs phone calls. Additional duties Assists patrons with material selection; answers reader’s advisory questions; assists patrons with Internet searches and electronic databases; processes materials; sorting and shelving material; assists with programs; prepares and processes book holds, intra-library loans and inter-library loans; other duties as assigned.
